I.     Vehicle Sales Department


Dealer Sales Trainer

Duties & Job Summary:

    Duties & Ensure that all sales professionals are equipped with the following skills:

    • Product knowledge (basic automotive training, product features, functions and benefits)
    • Selling techniques ( closing skills, objection handling, profiling and prospecting)
    • Toyota sales process compliance
    • customer service
    • Conducts training needs assessment among sales professionals and come up with programs that can address the gap.
    • Ensures that the department passes the required Toyota Motor Philippines’ exam and complies with TDSP requirements

    Job Duties:

      Training Budget

      • Prepares the department training budget
      • Implement and monitors the utilization of the budget (i.e. brochures, marketing kits, logistical requirements for the conduct of training)

      Reporting

      • Prepares the monthly sales training report and submit on time
      • Adequately prepares the Marketing Professional s /Group Sales Manager s on their quarterly examination
      • Adequately prepares Marketing Professional s for Toyota Motor Philippines individual awards Spearheads compliance to Showroom standards such spec sheet/tag, brochures,

      Training Program Development and Implementation

      • Conducts Training needs assessment among sales professionals
      • Prepares training modules based on TNA results
      • Sources out training programs to outside providers as maybe necessary ( i.e. Toyota Motor Philippines, Insurance, Banks etc.)
      • Assists other Departments in conducting training for Marketing Professional
      • Uses the results of the Performance evaluation ( weakness portion of the evaluation) to determine training gap
      • Conducts training program in compliance to the Toyota Sales Process
      • Prepares the trainees for a reválida to be conducted by the Sales Management team
      • Conducts researches regarding competitor products for use by the Sales Professionals to improve their selling strategies
      • Other tasks

        • Performs any other reasonable request or work task as allocated by the Vehicle Sales Manager.
        • Facilitates /Coordinates training programs as requested by customers.

        Job Requirements:

        • Baccalaureate degree
        • Experience in the field of sales training and customer service.
        • Able to work under pressure and deadline.
        • Results-oriented with ability to handle difficult customers and situations.
        • Friendly, courteous, and with a good sense of humor.
        • Strong work ethic and superior interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
        • Excellent time management skills that allow for the multi-tasking of all responsibilities.
        • Team player; quickly and easily establish professional rapport with coworkers.
        • Strong attention to details, concerned with quality. Produce work that is orderly and attractive. Ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time.
        • Proficient in computer (MS PowerPoint, Word & Excel)
        • very good communication and presentation skills ( oral and written)
        • Conforms on the company policies and procedures
